          Salary: $11.36 plus experience
          Job Details: Manages and performs non-clinical tasks for nursing unit; schedules appointments and consultations; prepares appropriate chart forms; routes patient record; updates patient census; transcribes physician orders; takes and relays messages to personnel in unit; maintains base level of ECG monitoring for all ordered patients; detects and alerts nursing staff to significant dysrhythmias; performs continuous monitoring and intermittent recording on patients in crisis; acquires and maintains appropriate education. High school graduate or equivalent; NAHUC class & four months or six months to one year of previous Unit Coordinator experience; professional telephone skills; CPR certification; basic EKG class and/or previous EKG rhythm strips interpretation; previous CNA or orderly experience helpful; pass basic rhythm strips test within 6 months; knowledge of medical terminology; effective, courteous telephone skills; basic computer knowledge; familiar with copy machine, fax machine, and addressograph; effective oral and written communication skills; ability to lift 30 pounds; ability to sit for extended periods of time.
