Job Duties
The OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT (OTA) provides direct rehab care in occupational therapy to residents upon physician referral and under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist in accordance with all laws, regulations and Life Care standards. �OTAs reports to the Rehab Services Manager (RSM) or supervising Occupational Therapist.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Computer Skills: �Candidates should be computer literate and have the ability to learn and operate proprietary software used in the management and delivery of therapy services.

Communications:�Candidates must possess the ability to communicate with residents and other facility staff.� They must be able to speak, write, read and follow instructions in English, and successfully pass a criminal background check as well as pass any state-specific abuse/fraud registry check.

CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES

Candidates must be currently NBCOT-certified, and must be currently registered/licensed with applicable state.
Required ExperienceOne year of experience in a long-term care or related setting is preferred.Required EducationMust be a graduate of an accredited program in occupational therapy (ASOT).Other Job Details
