712 Sr. Analyst HRIS Location: Tempe, AZ Length: Perm If interested, please send resumes to firstname.lastname@example.org Description: Responsible for leading HRIS initiatives primarily utilizing Oracle HR in order to substantiate, build, and support HR business process and reporting.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Detect and define manual business processes and then define business requirements to advance the manual processes to automation - Participate in the process of project development, with IT, including: development of use/test cases, test plans, and extracting test data - Lead Oracle HRIS projects with resources from several departments, while tracking and providing project status to management - Create HRIS reports and spreadsheets using Oracle Discover, MS Office, and Hyperion query/reporting tools - Create and maintain HR reporting dashboard, utilizing Hyperion, including departmental dashboards (Diversity, Benefits, Retirement, Recruiting) - Analyze personnel data and develop reports for senior management regarding hiring, retention, and attrition trends - Research problems with data, then plan and execute corrective action - Complete other related projects/duties, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: - Undergraduate degree in CIS or MIS or equivalent experience/training - At least 2 years relevant work experience - Knowledge and understanding of HR data and systems - Strong analytical skills and quantitative ability - High level of professionalism and discretion - Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of employees within the organization including sr. management - Proficient in Microsoft Office software (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access); above average computer skills, preferably including experience using an HRIS system (Oracle HRMS a plus) - Excellent time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and shift priorities to meet deadlines effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment - Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to research issues to determine
