          Kforce Microprocessor Product Design Engineer in Tucson Arizona United States

          A growing Engineering Company in the Tucson, Arizona (AZ) area is looking for candidates within the state of Arizona willing to relocate to the Tucson, AZ area. Once again, the position is in the Tucson, AZ area.

          Responsibilities:
          * Understand scope of Underwriters UL standard 924 requirements for listing of self-diagnostic emergency unit equipment
          * Review the current design and determine the best design strategy to accomplish product compliance
          * Present a written design plan including all levels and stages of engineering project to include: new or modified bill of material for design review; present schematics and theory of operation for design review and perform final product cost estimates for Marketing Department review
          * Submit 'Cost of Design' to a management group for review
          * Present design timeline (Gant chart) to include all design phases
          * Consult with Quality Control to develop and implement the QC test and inspection procedure
          * Work with manufacturing personal to assist in design, build, and implement test equipment
          * Communicate with Manufacturing and QC personal to review manufacturability and quality issues
          * Review any field or customer concerns with compatibility or product quality
