This leader is part of the Enterprise Application Lifecycle Management team within the Enterprise Application Portfolio Management organization, and will be responsible for managing the Application Management Review process that is part of the application lifecycle governance process. This role will be involved with and provide direction and leadership for major initiatives that span the technology organization.

This role will lead a team responsible for providing governance of the enterprise ALM standards and related processes through management of the Application Management Review Committee (AMRC) process. This role will partner with stakeholders – multiple levels of leadership and individual contributors – across technology and business lines to develop and improve governance processes. As the leader of this team, this role will have a significant level of experience and expertise in areas related to application management. Developing strong partnerships, balancing multiple priorities, providing strong leadership in a changing environment, and driving projects to completion in an efficient manner are all characteristics of a successful candidate in this role.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team that will drive cross-functional, enterprise-wide process.

  • Defining and implementing process improvements for the application lifecycle.

  • Executing governance practices for ALM.

  • Leading a governance process, meeting SLAs and continuous process improvement.

  • Identifying and minimizing risk in application sunrise and sunset processes.

  • Collaborating with other SDLC and ALM leaders to create a cohesive lifecycle process to make development teams successful in executing SDLC and ALM.

  • Building partnerships across EIT, including working closely with leaders of associated technology standards and processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of technology experience

  • 3+ years of leadership or management experience, in an IT environment

Desired Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization

  • Knowledge and understanding of product or program management: development of roadmaps, strategies, and management of products ranging from concepts in ideation through to market delivery

  • Leadership skills including the ability to influence effectively in a matrix environment

  • Ability to lead projects/initiatives with high risk and complexity

  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization

  • 5+ years of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience

  • Knowledge and understanding of Six Sigma methodology

  • A BS/BA degree or higher in science or technology

  • Outstanding problem solving and decision making skills

  • Strong relationship management skills

  • Ability to identify root-cause issues/improvement opportunities, and design approaches/programs/products to improve overall quality assurance

  • Knowledge and understanding of Information Technology governance risk and compliance processes such as; policies, control standards, risk management concepts, or information security

  • Experience identifying inefficiencies, finding opportunities to streamline business processes, and implementing change

  • Experience developing improvement processes and implementation strategies

  • Experience supporting or directing offshore teams

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally
