This position is in our Chase Auto Finance Dealer Commercial Services Phoenix Floor Plan Operations Department. The most important aspect of this position is providing world class customer service to our external floor plan customers and to our internal customers (bankers, underwriters, credit executives, etc.)

As an Operations Specialist you will be processing/inputting dealer floor plan loans, payments, equity transactions and loan transfers into the Dealer Floor Plan System (WMS). You will balance daily work and input offsetting General Ledger entries into the MITs application.

Duties may include but are not limited to reviewing maintaining dealer floor plan required documents notes on department shared drive, clearing the department email account; completing research request from internal and external customers within 48 hours; inputting non-monetary account transactions/adjustments and monthly reviewing billing statements prior to sending to customer.

As knowledge increases other duties will include daily balancing of internal DDA accounts and reporting any out of balances to NRS (National Recon Services); daily balancing of the Loans in Process, Payments in Process and Suspense Accounts and reporting any out of balances to NRS; pulling in the electronic ACH files from the manufacturers; pulling in the daily equity inbound file; setting up Auctions on WMS for ACH payments; sending out the ACH file at end of day and kicking off the system daily processing.

  • Strong knowledge of Banking Industry business structures a must, prior Auto Servicing experience desirable

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products

  • Must be willing to work in a fast-paced, heavy volume environment

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines

  • Must be willing to work in shifting schedules

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to multi-task: typing while reading, viewing multiple screens and systems, keeping up to date with new procedures and tracking all items processed

  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs

  • May require 10-key and/or data entry testing
