MidAmerican Energy Company SR BUSINESS COORDINATOR SOLAR in Phoenix, Arizona

The senior business coordinator is a developmental role in contracts and commercial management. The position will participate, as a team member, in renewable acquisitions and be responsible to set up and maintain internal and external data rooms and all request for information for the acquisitions. The position will also support, maintain and analyzes information to further the goals of BHE Renewables. Responsibilities include managing all administrative aspects of the Phoenix office, completing market analysis set up a database on specific key customers and opportunities, analyzing renewable trends in the market and creating senior management power points on acquisition opportunities. The position involves contact with the general public, government agencies, management and internal and external stakeholders and key customers.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Job Functions)

Management of all requirements for the Phoenix office including interface with lessor and building operations. Coordinate and participate in due diligence requirements for the acquisition of new renewable resources. Set up a database of Key Customers and opportunities. Create power point presentations on key decisions within the renewable group. Analysis market trends in the renewable group. Strong work commitment with an incredible focus on accuracy and details of work products. Strong “pride of ownership” in their work. Facilitates and enthusiastically encourages additional work tasks to advance BHE Renewable goals. Works well with others in solving problems and executing tasks. Self-starter but desires to be in a high growth collegial work environment . (60%)

Performs high-level administrative functions (verbal and written) which includes: coordinating executive travel, the timely completion of weekly and monthly reports, time entry queries, code-block validations for processing check disbursements and expense reports; independently analyzing complex information requests, drafting correspondence, analyzing complex trends and creating system-generated reports. (25%)

Duties may include: ordering and stocking office supplies, coordinating schedules, managing calendars and meeting arrangements, organizing daily work and projects, preparing expense reports, overseeing utility vehicle maintenance and other duties as assigned. (5-10%)

Gathers information to produce and maintain spreadsheets for the multiple work functions as required. (5-10%)

Perform word processing for agreements, letters and memos; maintain lists and reference information and organizational charts. (5-10%)

Associate's degree in business or related major or equivalent work experience. Technical degree or background preferred. (Typically four years of related, progressive work experience would be needed for candidates applying for this position who do not possess an associate's degree.)

A minimum of four years of experience in a technical or analytical role as well as demonstrated administrative experience. Two years in a utility or renewable power organization preferred.

Exemplary personal computer skills; demonstrated clear proficiency and understanding of functionality in Word, PowerPoint Excel, and Outlook. Basic knowledge and ability in software packages such as Access and Visio. The ability to create documents and maintain confidential information in department-specific software packages. Proficiency in keying and software program features based on required assessments.
